ARE YOU A LAWYER LOOKING FOR A PUBLIC INTEREST JOB
IN WASHINGTON, DC?
Grant monies that will enable D.C. legal aid organizations to fill new lawyer positions have been awarded by the D.C. Bar Foundation. These lawyers will provide civil legal services in underserved District communities as well as special housing-related initiatives.
The positions are the result of the D.C. City Council’s unprecedented step of appropriating $3.2 million for civil legal services programs and a loan repayment assistance program for legal aid lawyers.
Job announcements for all positions will be posted to this website
as they become available.
The first jobs funded by this grant have been announced and appear below.
A link to each organization’s website is provided as well.
