The WCL News Forum is published twice yearly and sent to all WCL members. It contains updates on the Council’s activities, current public interest issues, profiles on people serving the public interest in the Washington legal community, and other information. It’s a great way for Council members to keep informed and stay up to date on Council events. The Spring/Summer 2007 issue will be mailed late August.
The Public Interest Jobs Clearinghouse (PIJC) is published monthly. Free to WCL members upon request, the Clearinghouse provides job listings from public interest organizations across the country. Many law school career offices and other organizations subscribe to the PIJC. If you would like to subscribe to the PIJC for your law school career office or other institutional/organizational subscriber, please submit our online PIJC order form .
WCL no longer publishes the Public Interest Directory. The District of Columbia Bar publishes online (and in limited hardcopy) its Directory of Legal Services Providers for Attorneys. This Directory contains descriptions of public interest organizations, including the types of services and cases handled by each one and their pro bono or other volunteer needs. The Bar’s website is www.dcbar.org. Click “For Lawyers,” then “Resources,” to “Legal Service Providers.”
